Experience Sharing: How the RenAn Soft help to teach CNC Programming?

RenAn Soft has a systematic approach to teach CNC programming with NC Editor, Virtual CNC Machine and CAM Software.
1.NC Editor
a. Gives tips to memorize the CNC codes which it makes you faster.
b. You need to make some preparations for simulation such as material and tool loading, which
makes you ready for real operations,
c. You will be familiar CNC program structure such as Start Section, Main Section; Rough Turning,
Grooving, Threading, Cutting etc. and End Section to close operations and machine.
d. You can see the affects of codes you wrote by simulating it in every step.
e. You can also measure the part you created with simulation. You can see even how the tool radius has affected on produced part.e
f. There are many other functions in Milling Software also such as wide range of tool library, machine type selection, and Lathe/Mill Counter etc.
g. Most important side of using NC Editor is reduce your code writing time at least half.
h. And also you can distinguish the G/M codes and Coordinates with coloured letters. For the students its important until get familiar with CNC codes.
i. You can be able to write codes on PC so its easy to edit and change in digital environment.

2.Virtual Machine;
a. This software takes the CNC Machine to your PC. Reduce time and investment budget.
b. Virtual Machine as real as Industrial CNC Machine Tools. It comes as machine type just you ordered. There will be only one machine and its control unit as you selected such as Fanuc Oi TF Plus or Siemens 840D or any others.
c. You can load material as in real CNC Machine Tool. Dimension it and locate the material on table and clamp it as real condition.
d. You can load cutting tools as it in real machine. The order of tool installation is similar to real one.
e. Control Panel buttons has been revised to see related buttons together; such as RAPID mode will show Rapid Overwrite and direction keys so you can easily adapt.
f. Tool offset can be done bye using tool settler or cutting/touching material with cutting tool. So its possible to teach/learn both method. Tool offset screens of control unit is same as real one too.
g. You can transfer the program you prepared by NC Editor to Virtual Machine directly. And also if you want to be familiar with control unit, you can write codes to control unit with keyboard as real one.
h. You can simulate cutting process and even chip remove/ sounds also. You can see the process time and measure dimensions after manufacturing.
i. There are so many other features you can observe and control like simulation speed,
open/close control panel keyboard, setting jaws etc.
j. Most important thing is CNC Lathe or Milling machine will be in your computer so you can reach and test it whenever you ready. And cost almost nothing compared real CNC Lathe and Mill.
